Daniel Jones, like Lamar, was a QB who’s best attribute was his athleticism and running ability. I’m an eagles fan so i see him quite a bit, but people who don’t watch the giants much don’t realize how much of a threat he is with his legs. The question was whether or not he can put it together as a passer and stop turning the ball over. Mind you, the giants also had one of the worst receiving rooms and a terrible overall roster the past few years (much worse than the Ravens). Jones took a big step forward passing this year in spite of a practice squad receiving room and took a giants team predicted to finish at the bottom to the playoffs. He’s on an upward trajectory and I think he’s gonna reach his ceiling in the next few years and the contract will look reasonable if the giants end up as contenders.
