I don't think I agree. I've struggled with addiction, which I think can be analogized to obesity. Severely overweight people, and addicts, all know they're not living their best lives. Meanwhile, the solutions are right there. That's not to say they're "easy" (they most definitely are not) but I think it's worth reminding people they exist.
