For the record when I was 19 a 400 pound cabinet of lockers fell on my face and pushed my nose to the wrong side, and ever since you can tell it’s fucked up if you know how to look. If you notice how squirrelly I sometimes am in these videos it’s usually because I’ve noticed and it’s distracting me. Just one of those little ineradicable self-hates we all have.
You're a socialist? my pecker goes to the left a little, starboard if you will, doesn't distract me. These are jokes, relax people.
Don't take criticism, like the ones you're referring to, so seriously. It's so weird for someone to write "it's not worth my time." I sometimes can't read stuff you've written, or I can't/don't read the entire post, but, I'm not going to complain about that because I know what I've subscribed to. It's the same reason I unsubscribed from Glen Greenwald, but, I wouldn't complain to Glenn...I either like the material, or I don't.
Please don't take these clowns seriously. Are there normal criticisms? sure, but stupid mean schoolyard stuff, tell those stunads 'va fanapala' (literally 'go to naples,' figuratively...u get the idea ;))
I almost didn't watch it but I found this really interesting!
I'm someone who isn't interested in education or fiction so I find myself skipping a lot of these posts. But I always try and read the first paragraph or two and it turns out some of these posts that I don't think will be interesting actually were. But if it's clear it isn't I just click delete.
Is this some superpower that I have? It reminds me of people who were obsessed with Trump's Twitter feed and my response was always "dude, just don't read it."
If I can be charitable, I do think there's a problem that a lot of writers act like Twitter is genuinely important (it's not) and the average person is going around talking about that woman with the kidney or whatever. I think Freddie properly contextualizes its importance without falling into that trap, so it may be difficult for people to pick up on that distinction?
I really admire your oppositional personality. I am much too agreeable and avoid all sorts of conflict. Is this all innate personality, or do you have any advice on how to be more oppositional and disagreeable? Maybe an idea for a future post.
I am really annoyed that people write in to complain about certain topics when it’s clear that other subscribers enjoy the posts. Especially when there are 6+ posts per week on different topics.
Please stop trying to impose your preferences on the rest of us. We don’t need the topic selection to reflect the wishes of only the people who are rude enough to write in.
You know, I’d love to see Yelp nuked from the internet because it made people believe every transaction has to either leave them in a state of ecstasy, or be immediately redressed via complaint. Whining doesn’t make anybody feel they’re in the presence of a mentor. Maybe stop trying to bend the world to your will and just enjoy the ride, baby.
Freddie, why are you writing about people who ask you why you’re writing about topics, saying they’re not worth your time? This topic isn’t worth your time. (Joking aside, that does sound annoying)
Given your long list of topics to get to and your oppositional personality, if I want you to write about something am I better off requesting it or forbidding that you write about it?
So the Twitter thing. I’m not on it, and I get why people are like Twitter is not real life, but I mean neither are summits at Camp David but they still have some cultural impact.
Dude your nose looks badass
I didn't even notice until you pointed it out
Requesting a video to walk us through what tattoos you have and why. Give the people what they want.
I've broken my nose 3x and can't emphasize enough how much I relate to this.

I'm looking at your nose and I don't see anything wrong with it?!?!?
Sorry, didn't notice or hear anything. Was distracted by the striking blueness of your eyes.

Wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out...and I look at things for a living
People are assholes. I never click the posts about books, movies, music etc, but I'm sure a lot of people like it so it's none of my business.

I can't stand the sound of my own voice. Just the other day for work I heard it and froze from embarrassment.
We all got something and it's often just in our head.
