The first was an American cat; his name was One Two Three.
The second was a German cat; her name was Eins Zwei Drei.
The third was a French cat; his name was Un Deux Trois.
The cats decided to have a race to see who could swim the fastest across the lake. So they all got set up by the water and leapt into the lake on the same cue, kitty paddling their little hearts out.
On the far side of the lake the first cat, One Two Three, surged out in first place. The cat struck a pose and flexed and said “OH YEAH! MURICA! ONE TWO THREE FOR THE WIN!”
Then the second cat, Eins Zwei Drei, creeped out the water shaking the excess moisture off, muttering, “Ach, well. Ein Zwei Drei Katze in second place is still pretty good. Go Deutschland, I suppose.”
But they couldn’t find the third cat anywhere. Why?
